6/15 COVID19 Closure Update

Updates for MO families on the fifty-eighth day of the COVID-19 health-related closure:

  • This week's Parents University will be 6/17 at 5:30 p.m. via FaceBook Live. I will provide updates on ESY and summer programing.
  • Check your email for messages from your child's building principal regarding pick-up of items left in school.
  • Please review our re-entry plan and provide feedback via this form.
  • Our Virtual FULL DAY Kindergarten Registration is now live! This is only for families who have not yet registered. Please click this link to register!
  • As per District Goal # 2, our Response to Intervention Manual, and our COVID Health-Related Closure Plan, we will be administering benchmarking assessments in the coming weeks to measure independent reading level, as well as, growth and proficiency in ELA and math. These multiple data points will inform recommendations for proactive summer intervention programs and placement recommendations for next year's courses in grades 6-12. Benchmarking assessments will be conducted in compliance with student IEPs and personalized learning plans. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Robinson or Mr. Stansberry.
  • Pursuant to new NJDOE requirements for school districts, please review the daily attendance procedures that commenced on 5/18:
  • Based on Governor Murphy's directive, the Mount Olive Township School District will continue home instruction according to our Health-Related Closure Plan for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. All athletics and activities are canceled as well. Please go to tinyurl.com/MOhealthplan and view the MOTSD Health-Related Closure Plan for daily updates, as well as, vital information about home instruction schedules, WiFi access, free and reduced meals, and continuity of District operations.
  • In an effort to continue to support the Mount Olive Township School District community, breakfast and lunch are now available for any student free of charge. Meals will be distributed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 am - 9:30 am at the Mount Olive Middle School. The district will provide meals on three days each week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays): Complete this form to sign-up for meals. Students qualifying for free and reduced lunch who have already signed up or have been receiving meal delivery do not need to complete this form.
